Croatian Ambassador to South Korea Visits CAU Seoul Campus

On July 23 (Thursday), a delegation led by Croatian Ambassador to South Korea Damir Kusen paid a visit to CAU Seoul Campus.

 

The visit was made to celebrate the new designation of CAU-Zagreb King Sejong Institute. King Sejong Institute Foundation is running 213 institutes in 76 countries to promote Korean language and culture.

The event was attended by CAU President Park Sang-gue, Vice President for International Affairs Kwon Hyung-il, Dean of the Office of Extended Learning Choi Chang-bum, Head of the Humanities Research Institute Lee Chan-kyu, President of the King Sejong Institute Foundation Kang Hyoun-hwa and Director of the Committee on Library and Information Policy Shin Gi-nam.

 

President Park said, “Cooperation between CAU and Croatia has started thanks to the opening of the CAU-Zagreb King Sejong Institute. I hope we can take this opportunity as a foundation to maintain cooperative relationship between CAU and Croatia.”

 

President Kang said, “As more and more people in Croatia are showing curiosity in Korean culture, we will support CAU and University of Zagreb to make that curiosity interest and love towards Korean culture. I extend my special thanks to President Park, professors and everyone who made efforts to designate a new King Sejong Institute.”
