A research article titled “Course Analysis of Library and Information Science in Korea,” written by three students Mo Yelim, Seon Euntaek and Park Goun of CAU Department of Library and Information Science was published in an international esci and scopus indexed journal Information.

The research was designed to extend the results of a team project from a user interface design course. It was conducted to analyze the relationship between universities and courses by collecting data from Korean universities on their curriculums of Library and Information Science studies. It was meaningful to analyze that universities put different importance on different academic disciplines when it comes to teaching Library and Information Science, which is a multidisciplinary field of study.

Joint author Prof. Kim Haklae said, “It was meaningful to join my students who made tangible academic results from what they learned during class.”
