Chung-Ang University administers a wide range of student exchange programs with its partner schools around the world on a semestral or academic-year basis. For exchange students from most colleges and universities, the credits earned at Chung-Ang University can be transferred back to the student¡¯s home university.

Students who want to study for a semester or a year can participate in the following regular
academic programs:
- undergraduate courses offered in Korean in all subjects
- about 600 courses offered in English
- courses offered in English at the Graduate School of International Studies (undergraduate exchange students studying business or economics are allowed to take these courses upon the lecturer¡¯s permission)
- Special courses on Korean studies in English for exchange students
- Korean-language-related courses (special courses on Korean music, drama, and performing arts are offered with financial support from the Ministry of Education and Science Technology)

The International Center assists international students with housing, orientation, general academic affairs,
university facilities, health insurance, and personal concerns. A peer student adviser (buddy), who is
a Chung-Ang University student, is assigned to each international exchange student to provide the latter
with assistance in terms of campus life. The International Center also regularly offers cultural programs
for students who want to understand the Korean culture and society better.
