Chung-Ang University (CAU, President Park Sang-gue) held a large-scale offline job fair to actively support students’ job search and further strengthen its reputation as a leading university for employment opportunities.
Opening Ceremony of the 2024 CAU Job Fair
CAU held the “2024 Job Fair” from the 9th to the 11th in Building 310 (100th Anniversary Memorial Hall) at the Seoul Campus to provide live job-related information.
The job fair, held under the theme of “Challenge Tomorrow, Take One Step Closer to My Job,” was attended by recruiters from 96 companies including major domestic enterprises, financial companies, and public corporations. In addition to providing detailed job consultations at each company’s booth and recruitment sessions, consulting services were also offered, such as free photo shoots for students’ resumé and personal color analysis.

President Park Sang-gue and other CAU officials including Chairperson Lee Hyunsoon and Director Park Taewon attended the job fair’s opening ceremony held at 10:00 AM on the 9th. They visited each booth and greeted the corporate recruiters. They continuously encouraged the students who were preparing for the onsite recruitment.

Students welcomed the large-scale job fair. Kim Minsoo, a junior in the Department of Advertising and PR, said, “There is a lot of job information online, but it is not easy to identify which information is accurate. It was a meaningful occasion to meet and talk with HR personnel from each company and obtain accurate job information through this event.”
CAU has been validating its powerhouse status in terms of employment by renewing its employment rate record every year. According to the employment rate disclosure information announced last year, CAU recorded a combined employment rate of 72% with 72.4% for the Seoul Campus and 70.1% for the Da Vinci Campus, ranking fourth among major universities in the Seoul area.

CAU’s strong employment rate stems from its well-established employment support system centered on the “Rainbow System,” an integrated self-development management system, and the “CAU e-Advisor,” an education support system customized for learners. Moreover, CAU offers various programs including a mentoring program where current students and alumni meet, a career mentoring program held in cooperation between universities and companies, and an administrative internship conducted in collaboration with Dongjak-gu, where the Seoul Campus is located, and Anseong-si, where Da Vinci Campus is located.
President Park said, “Chung-Ang University offers detailed guides that provide practical help for students’ career planning and social advancement based on AI. I hope that this job fair, where students can obtain detailed employment information from each company, will be of great help in concretizing students’ career paths and securing successful employment.”
