Vice President Sha Aimin of Chang’an University extended his gratitude, saying, “I would like to express my deepest appreciation for inviting us to Chung-Ang University. I kindly ask the president of Chung-Ang University to visit our school someday. Our university is situated in Xi’an, well-known as the capital city of several ruling dynasties and famous for its beautiful scenery and time-honored heritage sites.”

In response, Provost Ryu Joong-seok said, “I will definitely visit Chang’an University in the future. And our centennial commemorative event will be held on Oct 10th, 2018. Please grace the occasion with your presence.”

The Korea-China Logistics Research Center, jointly established by CAU, the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI), Chang’an University, and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Xian, received an official approval from the Chinese Ministry of Education in May, 2016, which laid the foundation for academic collaboration in the logistics area between the two countries. With regard to this, the two universities profoundly discussed ways to operate the research center. On top of this, CAU and Chang’an University agreed to pursue further cooperation by initiating a double degree program, offered by the common departments of the two universities such as Department of International Logistics, Department of Urban System Engineering, and Department of Architecture.
