Chairman BÙI QUANG THNH of Hanoi Polytechnic College paid a visit to CAU to discuss how to better recruit participants of the Korean language course on Feb 6th, 2018. This visit was made to reciprocate Senior Manager Kim Sung-mok’s previous visit to Hanoi Polytechnic College in Jan 2018. Four CAU staff members including Executive Director Seo Hye-ock of Office of Extended Learning and Senior Manger Kim Sung-mok of International Education Team participated in the welcome ceremony, held at 10 a.m. at Faculty Meeting Room No. 610 of College of Pharmacy Building, also known as Building 102.

The ceremony was proceeded according to the following order: (i) greetings delivered by Executive Director of Seo, (ii) introduction of both CAU and CAU Korean Language Institute, (iii) encouragement of Vietnamese students who graduated from Hanoi Polytechnic College and take CAU Korean Language Institute’s Korean language courses, and (iv) business negotiation between the two universities.

Chairman BÙI QUANG THNH said, “Under the circumstances where a growing number of Vietnamese people express their interest in Korea including its language, I will make sure that this bilateral agreement sets the stage for sending more Vietnamese students to CAU and experiencing quality education.”

Approximately 800 overseas students from different 25 countries–690 of them staying at the Seoul Campus while 130 of them at the Anseong Campus–are currently enrolled in CAU Korean Language Institute’s Korean language courses.
