Minor Program

  • Students are required to earn a minimum of 21 credits of the core subjects offered by the minor-program department (faculty) to have a minor program reflected on their records.
  • Each year, students are allowed to take up to 12 units to meet the minor-program requirement, and any exceeding unit will count as an elective.
  • The completion of a minor program will be recorded on the transcript of the concerned student. Students will receive a separate certificate for each minor program completed.
  • Applying for a minor program, which is limited to the sophomore and junior students, must be made on the Web, through the campus system (
  • Students should start taking subjects for a minor program in the third semester.
  • Students who decide not to complete a declared minor must formally drop the minor program by submitting an accomplished Minor Drop Application Form to the Administration Office relevant to their major.
  • A student can apply for a minor program no more than two times.
